My classroom tip for this week is how I organize my workshop/station time for ELA and math. After the whole group lesson I transition into reading groups or small group to reteach a concept/lesson. While I’m working with my sweeties, I make sure the rest of my students can work independently. To make sure they are all on task and working on some sort of word analysis, grammar, writing, etc. center, I set up my workshop board. The students refer to it for activities they can work on independently or with their flexible groups. They are really good about knowing each activity listed since I rotate them everyday. All I have to do is switch their animal group to another center/activity listed and presto! Done! It saves me a lot of planning and organizational time. :)

I like that this is written out on a white board. I have 5 different boards and I have to tape and re-tape. It can be a pain! Thanks for linking up!
